Mamatoto Institute · Education and Training
Where 20+ years of lived experience meets education, a school of birth, wellness, and healing arts designed to train, equip, and empower community members, birth workers, and families across every stage of life.
Mamatoto Institute, created in January 2026 by the founders of Mamatoto Childbirth Alliance, is built on over 20 years of teaching, training, and empowering individuals to become healers, advocates, and birth workers in their own communities. Our founders bring a combined legacy of over four decades of hands-on service to Black women, girls, and families.
Our programs blend evidence-based knowledge with ancestral wisdom, holistic practice, and the lived experience of our teaching team. We teach not just information, but transformation. Every program is designed to change how participants understand their bodies, their communities, and their power.
