Mamatoto Institute · Doula Certification Program
A comprehensive holistic doula training presented with a balance of the intuitive and the clinical, furthering the mission of returning the power of birth to ALL families.
We firmly believe that every community should have a trained birth worker from within that community to support their own unique needs.
Program Overview
The Mamatoto Certified Holistic Doula Program is comprehensive in its scope. We teach a practical and well-rounded body of information about childbirth, all the basics, yet the material is presented holistically and with a balance of the intuitive and the clinical.
This program furthers the mission of returning the power of birth to ALL families by specifically targeting communities that are traditionally underserved in the birth community. We believe that access to skilled, culturally competent doula support should not be a privilege, it should be a right.
Upon completion of all requirements, graduates receive the Mamatoto Certified Holistic Doula credential and join a lineage of community birth workers committed to transforming birth outcomes.
